Nissan's Sentra Model Shows Company Innovation Over 10 Years

A commitment to constant improvement is something consumers hear a lot from auto manufacturers, but is all too often not followed up upon by the automaker.

Nissan prefers to show consumers improvements their models are making, and a brief look into the past of one of its models - the Nissan Sentra, illustrates this more than ever.

Over the last 10 years, the absolute transformation the Nissan Sentra compact model has undergone is impressive and an indicator of the dedication the company has to their vehicle. In its seventh-generation, the Sentra continues on as a more premium-feel offering than in the past.

Two standard amenities that were once part of a Sentra owner's fantasy include a USB connection port and a hands-free Bluetooth® system, while options of a Rearview Monitor, NissanConnect with Mobile Apps, and Sirius XM® Satellite Radio enhance the daily commute.

Admittedly, Nissan embraces the more luxurious appearance shown by its Sentra model, and even made it a focal point in one of their commercials after the 2013 model year redesign (shown above).

The Nissan Sentra has always been a fuel efficient model, but now the 2015 version sees 40 MPG on the highway, which continues to keep it as a leader amongst its peers, and offers a refined powertrain with very good power.

Times change, but not all cars do. Knowing Nissan will continue to provide the support needed to keep the Nissan Sentra not only current, but ahead of the curve is refreshing to know as a Nissan fan, and consumer.
